It is from a deep sense of gratitude that I should like to tell what Christian Science has done for me.

About twenty-five years ago I went to a palmist, who told me several things about my past that seemed to be more or less true, and then said that somewhere between the age of forty-five and fifty I would have a severe illness which might be fatal.

As the years passed the fear of this was constantly with me. Just before reaching this dreaded period of my life, however, I heard of Christian Science and started to study it.
