My attention has been drawn to the "Questions and Answers" column which appeared in a recent issue. One answer printed in your column is incorrect. May I offer your readers the following information?

Previous to her discovery of Christian Science Mrs. Eddy went to a Mr. Quimby, a magnetic doctor, for treatment, but she did not continue under the influence of his philosophy after her discovery. The Statement that Mrs. Eddy was stricken with paralysis is incorrect, for she did not have paralysis as a young woman or at any subsequent time. In her published writings Mrs. Eddy states that she was a sickly child, dosed with drugs until they had no effect on her. Later in her life the glorious revelation of Christian Science came to her and she healed herself and others by purely spiritual means.
