I have been helped so much by the testimonies in the Sentinel that I feel it is time to express my thanks and gratitude, for I have come through some dark places.

My first healing in Christian Science was of extreme nervousness and insomnia. I wrote to a cousin telling her of my condition, and she invited me to her home. I stayed about two weeks and was able to return home and take up my home duties. Headache and constipation have been healed, and fear and self-consciousness have been overcome to a great extent.

I have received great help from practitioners and from my own study of Christian Science. When my only sister passed on very suddenly, about two years ago, I almost gave up, but I clung to the truth which had hitherto helped me, and prayed earnestly that I might be shown the right way, and I was healed of grief. When our crop failed, and neither my husband nor I knew what to do, Love provided for us in a wonderful way. Kind practitioners worked for me, and I can say with all truth, "Hitherto hath the Lord helped us." All this has given me courage to press on and to know that "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
