Christian Science has done so much for me and my immediate family that I want to make acknowledgment of it and express my gratitude for it.

My husband sought help of a Christian Science practitioner for me, with my rather indifferent consent, in 1919, when I was suffering from a severe nervous breakdown attended by insomnia and other discordant conditions. Inflamed sinus and nasal passages, which had been treated by a speacialist for over a month, were healed by the first treatment and have never returned. They had been a source of great discomfort and fear. Help was asked for early in the afternoon, and at about five o'clock the same day I suddenly realized the condition had vanished. This naturally made a deep impression on me, strengthening my confidence and convincing me that there was help for me in Christian Science.
