"Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift." I, like Paul, thus express my gratitude for all that Christian Science means to me.

Because several years ago a member of my family was healed through Christian Science treatment of a disease pronounced incurable by the medical profession, I was able to learn about this beautiful religion early in life and for a few years had the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School.

The practicability of this religion has been proved through many experiences. There have been healings of grief, loneliness, fear of unemployment, and of many physical ills, such as infection, appendicitis, predisposition to frequent attacks of grippe, a severe case of ivy poisoning, and many other difficulties. Also, dependence upon material pleasures and pursuits for happiness has been lessened.

I have experienced great joy through membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, from our periodicals, and from class instruction.

My gratitude is unbounded for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, whose love and courage enabled her so unselfishly and untiringly to labor to discover and establish the truth, as found in Christian Science, which is awakening mankind to the understanding of the impossibility of an existence apart from God.—(Miss) Ruth Amelia Gaige, Boston, Massachusetts.
