"Thanks be unto God for his...
"Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift." I, like Paul, thus express my gratitude for all that Christian Science means to me.
Because several years ago a member of my family was healed through Christian Science treatment of a disease pronounced incurable by the medical profession, I was able to learn about this beautiful religion early in life and for a few years had the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School.
The practicability of this religion has been proved through many experiences. There have been healings of grief, loneliness, fear of unemployment, and of many physical ills, such as infection, appendicitis, predisposition to frequent attacks of grippe, a severe case of ivy poisoning, and many other difficulties. Also, dependence upon material pleasures and pursuits for happiness has been lessened.
