"Receive thy sight"
"Receive
thy sight," the Master said
To him that walked as blind,
For he beheld the perfect man—
The image of one Mind.
Thus he whose eyes had darkened been
Saw now the fair, wide earth;
And did he not with vision gained
Know, too, a glad new birth?
Then, faithful one, what futile lack
Beclouds thy happy way?
The man our Saviour saw of old
Is that same man today.
"Receive thy sight," and so behold
Thyself as God's own child.
Claim Love's abundance evermore—
Thy birthright undefiled.
