The Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy on October 2 announced the appointment of Alfred Pittman, C. S. B., of Swampscott, Massachusetts, to the position of Publishers' Agent for the Trustees. The responsibilities of this office include the printing, binding, and publication of the published works of Mary Baker Eddy and their sale throughout the world.

For the past two and one half years Mr. Pittman has served as an Associate Editor of The Christian Science Journal, the Christian Science Sentinel, and The Herald of Christian Science in its several editions, from which position he resigned to become associated with the Trustees under the Will of Mrs. Eddy.

Mr. Pittman is a native of St. Joseph, Missouri. He attended the public schools and was graduated from William Jewell College in that state, and later he carried on special studies in England under a scholarship from the American Association for International Conciliation, and at Harvard University.
