God's Day
This
is the day the Lord hath made.
Father, my guide Thou art!
I shall go forward unafraid,
Eager to do my part.
No easy pathway do I seek.
No earthly gain or fame;
Only Thy healing word to speak
And glorify Thy name.
Grateful I am that Thou art Love,
This Love I would express.
Oh, may Thy angels from above
Help me, through love, to bless.
Yielding my will to Thine, dear Lord,
I cannot lose the way.
So may I think in sweet accord
With Truth this holy day.
Then use me as it seemeth best,
In large or little place,
Where I, in blessing, shall be blest,
Empowered by Thy grace.
