Many have wondered over the unshakable peace of Jesus. They have sought like peace by prayer and by study of his example. It was the marvelous experience of his life, surpassing even his courage and endurance. The entire secret of it may not be found, but strong reasons for it are evident.

His faith never wavered in the goodness of the heavenly Father, the creator of earth and universe, the Being of love, with grace all-sufficient for human redemption. His awareness of God's presence with him all the way of his earthly ministry was clear and comforting....
