Without the help of practitioners and my own application of the truths learned by studying Mrs. Eddy's book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," I should not be here today to send in this message of gratitude.

To say I have had many healings would not half tell the story of the daily healings of sickness, sorrow, fear, lack, or loneliness.

A beloved friend heard of the healing of a case of bone consumption and became interested in Christian Science. Knowing that I was ill much of the time, she urged me to get Science and Health and read it. I had been sent home from a hospital to gain strength before an operation. I had no faith that reading could heal me, so I read halfheartedly, but when I had read for six weeks I noticed that I was not lying down so much as before, and I started to read more to see why. Before I had finished the book I was healed of a growth in my stomach. That healing occurred over thirty years ago, and I have never had a return of the trouble.
