I believe that most of us at some time have wished for such faith and understanding as enabled Christ Jesus and the prophets of old to save and heal mankind. Have not most of us then dropped the matter, because we thought it was something unattainable though greatly to be desired? But Jesus, whom we call our Master, Saviour, Way-shower, said, "Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full." And again he said, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."
