With my heart full of gratitude, I wish to express my thankfulness for Christian Science, for what it has done and is doing for me and my family.

I was twelve when it was first presented to me, during a severe attack of what seemed to be influenza. When I begged not to have to see a doctor, for I feared medical treatment, my mother gave me a book which I had often seen her read. This book was Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. My mother told me to read it, and said that I might feel better. Then followed my first healing.

Many difficulties have been overcome through study and my own understanding of God or with the help of a loving practitioner. Blood poisoning, an infectious growth on my husband's wrist, burns, sprains, corns on the soles of my feet, and lack of funds are a few of the conditions healed. Nervousness and ill temper are also being ruled out.
