I have every reason to be very grateful for Christian Science....
I have every reason to be very grateful for Christian Science. It has met my every need when rightly applied.
I had an experience which proved to me conclusively that a broken bone can be healed through mental surgery alone. As I was leaving an office building, I fell on my left side on the marble floor. My husband, who was to meet me there at that time, came shortly. I was taken to a room and laid on a couch, and a practitioner, who had been summoned, soon arrived. Work was taken up, and within a few minutes a little click was heard. It was the bone slipping back into place. I was taken to the hospital for an X ray, and the verdict was, "Fracture of the hip bone but no displacement." I rested there that night and was brought home the next day. Before I left, a doctor warned me that since I was not going to have a cast on my side, I must lie flat on my back for six months. Although it was several weeks before I was able to walk, I sat up and moved about with little or no discomfort, and my waking hours were profitably employed in reading and studying. When I succeeded in realizing that nothing had ever happened to spiritual man, the healing came. I am most grateful to the practitioner for this healing, and for Christian Science, which makes such healings possible.
Other physical difficulties have been quickly overcome. My home is harmonious because Truth has been applied to every erroneous thought which has presented itself.
