A Day Shall Dawn
(Hebrews 8:11)
Throughout
the highways of the earth
Wherever men may go,
The Galilean's word shall speak
That every man may know—
May know the sacred promises
The Gospel pages hold,
The promises that grateful lips
For centuries have told.
And as they journey, faithful hearts
In wisdom's way shall guide
Those weary ones who strive alone
In bitterness and pride.
Thus Truth shall gently lead the host
Until a glad day dawn
When none shall teach his neighbor nor
Bow down as evil's pawn.
