The Lectures
Introductions to Lectures
Teaneck, New Jersey (auspices of First Church, Ridgefield Park).
Lecturer: Miss Florence Middaugh; introduced by George Jaeger, who said:—
It was at a lecture on Christian Science that I received my introduction to this subject, more than ten years ago. At that time I was suffering from a severe physical disorder, and had been under the care of various physicians for more than two years without getting any better; rather was I growing worse. The statements I heard that night gave me much to think about; and as a result, about two weeks later, when I found the going extremely difficult and was unable to get permanent relief in any othe way, I consulted a practitioner, and was assured that Christian Science could and would heal me. Although I was skeptical, I began to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and Christian Science treatment was given me. In less than two weeks, I was completely and permanently healed. It was then that I decided to learn more about this religion, which heals in the same manner that Christ Jesus healed centuries ago. In the years which have followed, my family and I have received many physical healings, and also have solved business and financial problems entirely through the application of Christian Science.
