I have had many proofs of the healing power of Christian Science, and want to express my gratitude for a wonderful demonstration over what appeared to be imminent death at the time of the birth of our little son. The fact that Life is everlasting and has no beginning or end became very clear and evident to me at this time.

Labor began one evening, six weeks before the baby was supposed to arrive. Immediately the practitioner was called and a nurse was summoned. The physician, who arrived soon afterwards, said that the baby was in the wrong position and would be born dead. The next evening, however, the baby was born, and in a few moments began to breathe. The doctor wanted me to be transferred to the hospital, since it seemed necessary to put the premature infant in an incubator, but he graciously agreed to my desire to stay at home and to have the baby remain with me; for I had definitely decided to depend entirely on Christian Science.

Sometime later the infant appeared to be passing on. My husband telephoned to the practitioner, and the little fellow immediately began to breathe normally again.
