For thirteen years I was a slave to the beliefs of materia medica, and suffered from a supposedly incurable disease of the hip and pelvis. After I had undergone twelve operations, and all prescribed material remedies had been tried, doctors stated that my condition was chronic, and that nothing more could be done for me. At this stage Christian Science was presented to me, and through the consecrated work of a loving practitioner God healed me of the disease from which I had suffered for so many years.

After I had been studying Christian Science for some months, I became very much discouraged over what appeared to be slow progress and lack of unfoldment, and many times I erred and strayed from the straight and narrow path; but always the loving practitioner was ready, waiting to lead me back into the light of divine Truth and Love.

For all that Christian Science has done and is doing for me and for all mankind, I am deeply grateful.
