I have many reasons to be grateful for Christian Science

I have many reasons to be grateful for Christian Science. It is seventeen years since I turned to the truth, and I have depended upon it for my healing since that time. We have had many healings in our home, many through practitioners' work and some through our own understanding.

When our son was in high school, an epidemic of scarlet fever appeared. The principal described the symptoms of the disease to the students and told them not to return to school if these symptoms appeared. The next day our son felt ill and was sent to the school nurse. The nurse sent him home at once because he seemed to manifest some of the symptoms the principal had described. He was put to bed, and a Christian Science practitioner was asked for help. He returned to school the next day, and nothing was said to him about the illness. He was healed of blood poisoning in his hand in ten days. During this time he had very little pain. He was healed of ptomaine poisoning also; fifteen minutes after asking for help he was sleeping peacefully.

My husband was subject to tonsillitis, and was away from his work several days during each attack. He has not had this trouble since Christian Science came into our home. This is only one of the many benefits he has received.
