In Article VIII, Section 24, of the Manual of The Mother Church, Mrs. Eddy writes, "Testimony in regard to the healing of the sick is highly important." In obedience to this By-Law I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for the many blessings which have been enjoyed by my family and me.

Several years ago I was examined by a physician, who said that an operation for tumors of the breast was necessary. I decided to try Christian Science, because I had heard, through a dear friend, of its healing power.

So much fear had crept into my consciousness that I found it necessary to ask for help from a practitioner, and through her loving work I was healed in less than a month, and the healing has been permanent.
