When I found Christian Science I was very homesick
When I found Christian Science I was very homesick. Through its healing power it was revealed to me that home is primarily a state of mind. I began to realize that I was not separated from home, but was gaining a wider, broader view of God and His creation. I awakened to a new concept of Life.
My gratitude for Christian Science becomes greater as I grow in understanding, and the continuous blessings received are beautiful proofs of God's loving-kindness and care.
I have been healed of fear in many forms, and have learned to turn unreservedly to divine Love for guidance and for protection from physical suffering. I was freed from grief when a beloved daughter was suddenly taken from our midst. I realized that God's child can never be separated from the divine source. My heart was filled with thankfulness for the realization that, as Mrs. Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 469), "Life is neither in nor of matter." Our beloved Leader also states (ibid., p. 167), "There is but one way—namely, God and His idea—which leads to spiritual being."
