It is with sincere gratitude for the many blessings which Christian Science has brought to me that I give this testimony.

When Science was first brought to my attention, eleven years ago, I was mentally and physically sick, having suffered untold agony for many years from nervous trouble, the last attack being an exaggerated form of shingles. A medical nurse asked me if I had ever thought of Christian Science; she did not know anything about it, but a friend of hers had been beautifully healed through its teachings. I thought about this a great deal, talked it over with my husband, and it was finally decided to ask for help in Christian Science.

My extremity was certainly "God's opportunity." A practitioner was called in, and I can never be grateful enough to her for her loving presentation of the truth, and for pointing out to me clearly that God is Love. I was healed in the first treatment. It was all so wonderful to me that I could hardly leave the Christian Science textbook long enough to do my housework. Reading it brought me much joy and peace.
