Prompted by sincere gratitude for Christian Science, I wish to contribute my testimony of healing; perchance it may encourage others to persevere in their study of this God-inspired teaching.

My introduction to this healing truth was at a time when my father was healed of a torn ligament in one of his limbs. He had been told he would always be lame as a result of the accident. This statement was proved to be untrue, for he regained the normal use of the limb. The healing took place while I was attending a Sunday school of another denomination, but the family soon started to attend a near-by Christian Science church.

My thought at this time was one of great reverence for this newly found religion, though I was not spiritually ready to understand it. When I heard the marvelous healings related, I thought Science was a very beautiful teaching, but it all seemed rather mysterious to me.
