For many years I have received help and encouragement from the testimonies given in the Journal and Sentinel, and wish to share some of the blessings I have received through this wonderful truth, revealed to us in Science and Health by our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

A relative, whom I had not seen for twenty years or more, visited me in my home and told me of a wonderful healing which she had received through Christian Science, of a serious kidney trouble. The doctors had said she could not be cured without an operation, which they did not advise on account of her age.

Prior to this time I could not remember the day when I was free from aches and pains from some cause or other—constipation, bloody piles, ulcers, and tumors of the rectum. I had been to many physicians, also to health resorts, and took medicine continually, besides injecting morphine into the rectum. Physicians said I could never be well without an operation. I never had the operation. Thanks be to God for giving us Christian Science through Mrs. Eddy! My healing took place over ten years ago, and it has been permanent.
