Testimonies given in the Christian Science Sentinel have been such an inspiration to me that I should like also to help others.

After many years of invalidism, during which time I "suffered many things of many physicians"—nineteen in all—and underwent three operations in a desperate search for health, I was told by one doctor that I could never be well again. Another doctor advised Christian Science for insomnia, but little did he think it would also heal so-called incurable spinal trouble. In extreme agony I had prayed to die, to be put out of ceaseless misery, but through God's mercy the ever-healing Christ, Truth, was presented to me, and soon my many afflictions began to disappear. As I began to be "transformed by the renewing of [my] mind," I realized that fear, worry—mental burdens of any kind—may be manifested in disease.

As we gain some understanding of the exalted teachings of our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, we prove that disease is unreal, for real things are everlasting. I was healed of constant headaches, eye trouble, heart trouble, acute rheumatism, and many other ills, through my earnest study of our textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Truly it is the "key" to the Scriptures, for it reveals the true meaning of the Word of God.
