The testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals and those heard at Wednesday evening meetings have benefited me greatly. May this one encourage and strengthen others!

My first healing of consequence was of prolapsus. I was unable to stand, and had worn an abdominal support for six months. Christian Science treatment was requested, and lovingly given for one week, when the support was removed, and it has never been worn since. However, a year later, certain symptoms reappeared, and with them the suggestion that the support be used again. I had not disposed of it, thinking that someone else might need it. My thought was then awakened to see that no one need ever depend on a material support, because God, Spirit, supports all that reflects Him. Then the apparatus was thrown away. This occurred about twelve years ago.

I have also been healed of cuts, burns, sprained ankle, ear trouble, colds, influenza, athlete's foot, and a skin eruption which occurred at the same time for three summers and covered most of the body. I had help for some of these healings; others came through my own understanding. At times the way has seemed very dark, and understanding has been gained slowly. I am grateful for the help of practitioners and friends, and for all earnest work by students of Christian Science.
