Expectancy

I Know that neither sin nor fear
Can dim this truth divine:
That God is good, and good is here.
I claim this truth as mine.
In this expectancy of good
I wait on Him today;
I cannot lack for daily food,
Of love and peace alway.
O Father-Mother God, enfold
In Thy great heart of love
Thy straying sheep from every fold,
However far they rove.
So may we see, as Jesus saw,
One fold, one Shepherd good,
One King, one God, forevermore
By all men understood.
