Meditation

CONRAD EIERMANN

Here in the inner silence deep,
Where angel thoughts abound,
I lose the earthly cares, and find
That peace is all around.

Upon these heights aglow with love
I linger long, and then,
Restored by faith and with a song,
I take the road again.
