With a heart full of gratitude and a sincere appreciation of the teaching of Christian Science and its healing message, I offer this testimony.

One winter, my son was knocked down by the trailer of a truck. He was very badly bruised and suffered greatly in his leg and hip. After the first treatment in Christian Science the suffering entirely disappeared. He was soon able to walk, and though he found difficulty at first, this was soon met when he gained an understanding of the following passages in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy: 84:19; 402:15; 208:5.

There was a persistent suggestion to have an examination by a physician, but it was recognized as a suggestion to bow down to the belief in matter and material laws and therefore was rejected. The understanding that Truth corrects every error restored harmonious action. The boy's mental attitude changed a great deal during this healing; he became more obedient and kind, and realized that he must stand more firmly for Truth.
