Annual Meeting of The Mother Church

A LARGE number of members of The Mother Church, from all over the world, attended the Annual Meeting on June 5. The addresses and reports which were read were listened to with much appreciation. The Christian Science Board of Directors in their address expressed their thanks to all who are "conscientiously following the teachings of our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy." They expressed particular appreciation of the work of the Christian Science practitioners throughout the Field, stating that "at no time in the history of the movement has the healing work been carried on with greater success or along broader lines than it is today."

The meeting was opened with the singing of Hymn No. 290, "Press on, press on, ye sons of light." The retiring President, Ralph H. Knapp, then read the following passages from the Bible, with correlative passages from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy:
