My gratitude for Christian Science and for what it is doing for the whole world impels me to send this testimony. Christian Science was first brought to our attention when I was a young girl, through some copies of the Christian Science Sentinel which had been sent to my mother, who was suffering from inflammation of the bladder. Through reading them and accepting the truth, as given therein, she was entirely healed. From the time I was a small child I was in bondage to heavy colds and a cough which lasted from early fall to late spring each year, and for which I was treated nightly in order that I might sleep. This condition was also healed at this time as the result of reading the Sentinel. Some years later, through my own realization of the truth, I was healed of chronic sick headaches.

With the loving help of practitioners I was healed of constipation and piles; also of mumps, in three days. One February, while doing all the secretarial work in a very busy industrial office, I was healed of influenza with symptoms of pneumonia, without the loss of a single day at the office. All during this time the weather was cold and wet, with heavy fogs prevailing.

More recently I was healed of a nervous breakdown, when the functioning of every organ in the body was deranged, producing either complete inaction or excessive overaction. Also a severe case of intestinal influenza was overcome. My gratitude goes out to God for these and many other proofs of the truth and efficacy of Christian Science, and for Truth's unerring direction.
