With the help of a Christian Science practitioner I was completely healed of a chronic malady of the gall bladder. The doctors had said that nothing but an operation could help me, and that even if the gall bladder were removed I should still have to continue on a very restricted diet for the rest of my life, and should have infrequent attacks of the trouble. I never had the operation which the doctors termed so necessary, and since being healed in Christian Science I have never given a thought to dieting, but rather have eaten any food I have desired, with no ill effects. About this time I was also healed of what a doctor diagnosed as a cystic ovary, which he said was the cause of periodic hemorrhages, pain, and distress. During this time I was studying the Bible Lessons in the Christian Science Quarterly, and my constant desire was to put into practice the things I was learning daily.

For these and many other healings I am grateful to our practitioners, who are faithful followers of our revered Leader's untiring effort; through her faithfulness and divine guidance the Bible is no longer a closed book to me. I am continuously thankful that I am learning more of the perfection of God and His creation. My sincere desire is to see God's perfect idea, however much the material senses try to tell me otherwise. I want to serve our Father meekly, joyously, and with a heart full of love for God and my fellow man.

I am increasingly grateful to have had class instruction from a faithful follower of our dear Master and of our beloved Leader. I am grateful to be a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church.
