In a recent issue appears an article in the course of which the writer says: "It may be that Socialism, or Social Credit, or Christian Science, or Communism, or the barter system should replace the so-called capitalist system." From this some of your readers might infer that Christian Science is in some way connected with these systems of government.

Christian Science is, as its name implies, a religion, and its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy, writes in her book, "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany" (p. 178): "This Science is the essence of religion, distilled in the laboratory of infinite Love and prepared for all peoples." In founding her church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, she also writes in the Church Manual (p. 17) that it is "a church designed to commemorate the word and works of our Master, which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing."

A study of this Science will reveal that it is the remedy for all types of disease and sin.
