In Isaiah we read, "Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God." One day the question came to me, "What is the Christian Science God?" The answer I found on page 140 of the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy: "The Christian Science God is universal, eternal, divine Love, which changeth not and causeth no evil, disease, nor death." I wish to give grateful testimony to the fact that sickness is healed by Truth.

Someone very dear to me was desperately ill with tuberculosis. Different schools of medicine had been tried, different climates also, but without any benefit, and finally all hope was given up. It was then that the Christian Science textbook was placed in his hands. The relief was immediate; the healing was accomplished through the study of our textbook and the pondering and putting into practice of the truths taught therein, and this healing has been permanent.

I have always enjoyed good health, but I have had many opportunities for proving the efficacy of Christian Science healing. I was healed of chronic headaches; and of diphtheria, in two days. Lumbago, an intestinal disorder, grippe, and laryngitis gave way before Truth. I was wonderfully taken care of at the time of the birth of my children.
