Joyfully I wish to express my gratitude to God, who in His great goodness has answered my prayers and acquainted me with Christian Science, the priceless gift of our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy. Thanks to this Science, I am very happy to be able to say that I am learning to know our Father-Mother God better, and also the real man, as God created him and sees him. I should like to say also how precious and comprehensible the Bible is becoming to me, with the light which Mrs. Eddy throws upon it in her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."

Through Christian Science I have been completely healed of eczema on the feet and right hand, which I had had for six years. This error caused me much suffering, and handicapped me exceedingly in my work. I had recourse to all sorts of material means, many doctors, various remedies, homeopathy, diets, and baths, without any improvement. On the contrary, the trouble seemed to be more and more aggravated. I should like to add, for the benefit of those who may be impatient to be healed, that it was only when I turned my thought wholly to God, away from the error, that it was destroyed. I am grateful for this healing, for it has strengthened me in the truth. I have also been able to prove that Truth has been the victor in problems other than sickness, and that "divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health, p. 494).

I am trying to make myself useful in our group of Christian Scientists in gratitude for all I have received, and I am sincerely desirous of demonstrating in my life what Christian Science means to me.
