I wish to express my gratitude for the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Especially am I grateful for the "key" to the Scriptures, for that is just what it has been to me. When a child I liked to read the New Testament and would pray that I might understand what I read. When I became a student of Christian Science I realized that more and more I was understanding God's presence and power to meet every need, as revealed in the New Testament, and that, therefore, my childhood prayer had been answered.

I should like to share one healing. The trouble was a misplaced organ. When I more clearly understood substance to be spiritual, not material, the realization came that Spirit is infinite, the only substance, and cannot be misplaced, displaced, or discordant, and I was healed.

At another time the suggestion of passing on was presented to me and was overcome through my realizing that Truth, Life, and Love are all-inclusive; therefore there could be no death, confusion, or fear. During this experience my daughter, turning to God for guidance, read aloud to me the answer to the question, "What is Life?" on page 468 of Science and Health.
