Because I, like thousands of others, have been helped and inspired by the grateful testimonies in our Journal and Sentinel, I am glad to testify to the healing power of Truth when divine Principle has been adhered to without mental reservation and demonstrated intelligently and consistently in my daily life and experiences.

I had led a very active life, working in and for many causes and organizations, all good and worth while and blessing many people, but it was not until I began to get some understanding of Christian Science that I realized I had been going around in circles, relying on human experiences, initiative, and will power to a great extent, although I had been raised in an orthodox church and had worked faithfully according to my limited concept of God, church, and man.

I believed in death, sickness, sin, suffering, and limitation in everything, and yet I believed in a loving Father, and I prayed to Him to overcome these existing calamities which seemingly were visited upon every person and home.
