It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I humbly submit my testimony and give thanks to God for the many blessings received. During the past six years, through earnest and faithful study and application of Christian Science, many problems have been solved and a clearer understanding of God and man has unfolded to me.

One healing stands out prominently. Through improper vocal training when a young girl, I lost my voice and was unable to sing a tune for several years. Shortly after I became a student of Christian Science, rejoicing and expressing gratitude for the unfoldment of this truth and the little understanding I had gained, I found myself singing at a Wednesday evening testimony meeting. This indeed was a wonderful demonstration, and proved that there is no loss in divine Mind.

I am also very grateful for the protection from accidents received through the daily study of our Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly. One morning a cup of hot coffee poured over my lap. I instantly declared the truth, and there were no ill effects. Another time I was struck in the eye by a heavy metal sash. I instantaneously declared God's allness and man's perfection, and no traces whatsoever of the blow remained. A similar incident occurred before I knew anything about Christian Science, which left traces for fully six weeks. Recently, in the passing on of a loved one, the knowing that God is eternal Life sustained me, and there was no sense of separation or sorrow.
