It is with much love and gratitude for Christian Science that I send this testimony. It is impossible for me to express in words what this beautiful truth has meant to me. I can say as Jesus did at the tomb of Lazarus: "Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always."

I was healed of a breaking out and swelling of the face. It was a testing time for me, but it gave me an understanding of man as God's image and likeness, and not as a material body. I am so grateful for this proof and for the practitioner's help and encouraging advice to hold fast to the truth. Mrs. Eddy tells us in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 201), "The way to extract error from mortal mind is to pour in truth through flood-tides of Love." Through my study in making the above demonstration much fear was overcome. For this healing I am very grateful. I am also grateful for the protection I experienced in an accident, and for many other healings. I am grateful for the literature and the testimonies; they encourage and give inspiration.

When I think of Mrs. Eddy and her great love for mankind, and of the injustice that was done her, and how loving were her words, acts, and deeds even to those who were her enemies, it makes me stop and ponder whether I am humbly grateful enough for Christian Science.
