In your issue of November 2 [1935] a clergyman in a lecture entitled "Christian Science and Faith Healing," is said to have criticized the life of Mary Baker Eddy. I would recommend that he read "Mary Baker Eddy: A Life Size Portrait," by the Rev. Lyman P. Powell—not a Christian Scientist.

Today, all over the world are living witness to the power of Truth. Christian Science is healing the sick, reforming the sinner, and bringing comfort to millions. "Ye shall know them by their fruits." On page x of the Preface to the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, we read, "They [various books] regard the human mind as a healing agent, whereas this mind is not a factor in the Principle of Christian Science."
