Topic: Faith in Good a Necessity

The whole world is sick with the loss of faith. It is hard to trust nations when treaties are trampled underfoot. Diplomacy has discredited itself. We know not whom to trust.

But let none of this sapping of faith be laid at any of our doors. Let us believe in honest and sincere men, even when we differ. Let us be generous in our praise and slow with our criticism. Let us credit men with good motives in the face of current cynicism. It would be fine to be known as one—
