I am glad to report concerning the many blessings and proofs of God's loving care and protection which I have experienced through Christian Science. In October, 1925, I crushed the tip of a finger on my left hand in working with a punching machine, and the fingernail and tip remained in the machine. I immediately made it clear to myself that my extremity should be God's opportunity. In accordance with the legal obligations I went to the doctor, who said that the bone was splintered and that the splinters must be taken out. I asked him to put a bandage on it and let it alone, since I had the firm trust that God could give me aid and healing. Then I sought a kind practitioner and asked for Christian Science help, which was lovingly given me. The pain ceased immediately, and after four days I could resume my work. The bandage stayed on until it fell off of itself on Christmas Eve, when to my astonishment I saw that the finger had completely grown again with the nail, and I had no further difficulties. My finger is entirely normal and flexible.
I am grateful to God with all my heart for this wonderful healing. Words are insufficient to express my deep thanks to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for having brought the spiritual meaning of the Bible to light through the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." I am grateful to be a member of The Mother Church and of a Christian Science Society.—Heinrich Steinbrink, Gross Berkel, Hameln Land, Germany.
With great joy I confirm this testimony of my husband's healing. Also I am deeply grateful that through Christian Science the Christ has come into our home as the Wayshower. I should like to add that I was healed of cancer through Christian Science. Words cannot express my gratitude. My whole endeavor is to serve God by selfless love. I am grateful to be a member of The Mother Church and of a Christian Science Society. I am also very grateful to have been permitted to enjoy the privilege of class instruction, which has brought me much blessing and spiritual growth.—(Mrs.) Minna Steinbrink.
