My parents became interested in Christian Science when I was a fairly young child, so I had the advantage for several years of a Christian Science Sunday School. As a child I had to learn to do my own studying for the healing of acute indigestion and goiter, also many minor ailments. The last few years Christian Science has really been more of a preventive in my case, as I have enjoyed especially good health.

However, in 1934, I probably did not do my mental work properly, and so did not realize the ever-available protection that is always ours. I experienced a severe pain in my side, but failed to realize the nothingness of matter. At this time I asked for treatment for another member of the family and my trouble disappeared so easily that I did not realize it was disappearing until all trace was gone.

To me the peace which follows each study period is "the peace of God, which passeth all understanding." I am a member of The Mother Church and hope some day to be a member of a branch church.
