The Lectures

Introductions to Lectures

Los Angeles, California (Third Church).

Lecturer: Peter B. Biggins; introduced by John Ellis Sedman, who said:—

Anyone who reads the Bible thoughtfully cannot fail to note the tremendous importance attached to divine healing in that great book. Wherever our Master and Way-shower, Christ Jesus, went when he was carrying on his ministry, he healed the sick, comforted the sorrowing, and raised the dead. The Scriptures indicate that Jesus often healed multitudes in a single day. He healed every form of sickness and disease. He never failed. No man, woman, or child ever appealed to Christ Jesus in vain for surcease from distress or sorrow. Therein lies one of the most remarkable and encouraging facts recorded in the long history of mankind.
