It is with a heart full of gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for the infallible truths she rediscovered for mankind, that I write this testimony.

About thirty years ago my mother was healed of a so-called incurable throat ailment, nervous prostration, chronic constipation, and hemorrhoids through Christian Science treatment. These healings brought many members of our family into Science, and healed them of many ills, physical, mental, financial, and moral. My sister and I were put into a Christian Science Sunday School, and have known no other religious training. For this we can never be sufficiently grateful. As the mother of two active sons, I am very grateful that they also have the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School. In rearing them, I do not know what I should do if I did not have the positive assurance that "Love inspires, illumines, designates, and leads the way," as Mrs. Eddy says (Science and Health, p. 454), and that all that really exists is the manifestation of Mind, sustained by God's omnipotence. Since the real man is the expression of God, each is held "forever intact in his perfect state" (ibid., pp. 493, 494), untouched by anything that harms or defiles.

We have had healings of mumps, measles, whooping cough, chicken pox, sprains, cuts, infections, laryngitis, bronchitis, tonsillitis, pneumonia, yellow jaundice, convulsions, kidney trouble, extreme nervousness, anemia, goiter, influenza, headaches, the tea and coffee habit, and the smoking habit. Two members of the family have been able to lay aside glasses. Many of these healings have been instantaneous; others have taken longer. All have been accompanied by increased spiritual growth.
