It is with a heart full of gratitude for Christian Science and to its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy, that this testimony is given.

Over eighteen years ago, through the efficacy of Christian Science, I was healed of a tumor of which two physicians told me I could not be healed without an operation. I was also healed of constipation and sick headaches by reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. During this time I have not used any material remedies. With the aid of a practitioner I had an instantaneous healing of a very bad cold.

Fifteen years ago I awoke one morning with a pain in my wrist. An hour later the arm was swollen to the shoulder. I sat down to read Science and Health, but the pain grew so severe that I walked the floor for a while. Then I read again, and in a short while the poison was all gone and the pain had disappeared, but I had no feeling in my arm. Within three days the healing was complete and the arm normal again. Later I was healed of a very painful condition of one of my legs. I suffered for three or four days, but through the help of a practitioner, some relatives, and my own reading of the Bible, Science and Health, and the Hymnal, I was healed.
