Every
student of Christian Science rejoices when the opportunity comes to turn to the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy for a period of devout study.
Christ Jesus
, the Way-shower, gave a twofold command to his disciples.
Mary Baker Eddy
gave to the world not only her remarkable textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," but also the Manual of The Mother Church, which governs the activities of the Christian Science movement.
About
thirty boys in a class in an elementary school, each of whom had chosen for himself a brass or a woodwind instrument, were being taught to play.

On Sunday last, a clergyman delivered a sermon in the cathedral.
The one point in question in my correspondence is whether Christian Science is based on the Bible, and not whether Christian Science is in agreement with what your correspondent considers the Bible to teach.
How
frequently are the experiences of various Bible characters seen to prefigure those of present-day humanity! And what helpful, inspiring, and directive lessons may be learned from the lives of those who, through faith in God and obedience to their highest sense of right, delivered from from evil, provided with human necessities, delivered from disaster! Naturally, he who stands pre-eminent among these and other men of all time is Christ Jesus, for his spiritual teachings, loving life, and complete work verified his Messiahship and marked him as the Exemplar or Way-shower for all mankind.
The
first need of every human being is to nourish his consciousness with the understanding of Life, Truth, and Love, for these are fundamental to man's being.

The Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy, and the Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society, have, for some years, issued literature in Braille for the blind.
After all the good I have received since I became a student of Christian Science I feel it my duty and privilege to send my testimony.
For months prior to the time when I first became interested in Christian Science I had been a patient of a leading heart and lung specialist in one of our large middle western cities; in fact, he was said to be the finest diagnostician of the northwest, and his diagnosis of my case was anything but hopeful.
I want to express my sincere gratitude for Christian Science.
With a grateful heart I testify to some healings I have been privileged to experience as a student of Christian Science.
In November, 1933, I had a healing of erysipelas which brought to me such a firm conviction of God's presence and healing power that I feel the least I can do is to pass it along in this way, as a small expression of my gratitude.
My coming to Christian Science was the result of a longing for an understanding of God that would be usable.
Our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in establishing the Cause of Christian Science has given to mankind the reassurance of the Christ, which in my experience has brought cheer and cause for gratitude.
It is with a heart full of gratitude for Christian Science and to its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy, that this testimony is given.
Christian Science came to our family through the healing of my mother of neurasthenia before I reached the "teens.
I am grateful each day for the joy and the understanding of God which have come to me through Christian Science.
