A RELLIANCE
upon mere material things and means, popular theories, statistical forecasts, human hypotheses, "the wisdom of this world," self-will, manipulation, and trickery, always fails of real success, and can contribute nothing permanent to social harmony, economic peace, or business stabilization.
"FORGIVE
and forget" has long been considered a gracious way of establishing peace after some misunderstanding; but Christian Scientists are gaining a sense of love far outweighing a concept of forgiveness which would claim to forget while continuing to believe in a past evil as having been real.
HOW
pleasant it is to be found contributing or subscribing to the world's sweetness, thus helping to neutralize its bitterness! How eagerly the world is looking for those who are willing to help it to see the bright skies instead of the gloomy clouds! What opportunities there are today for each one to do a vast amount of good!
A STUDENT
of Christian Science recently found herself in the category described by the world as one of the unemployed.

Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, long ago realized that the power of God is sufficiently able to correct any and every discordant condition, whether the bodily ailment be organic or functional, or whether a mental disturbance be due to a human problem or to an unbalanced state of mind.
In the Sunday issue of Der Bund there is a report of Professor Blanke's cathedral address in which he is said to have designated Christian Science as a sect because it is subject to human authority and disregards the authority of Christ.
I have read with much interest the "Talk on Health" in your issue of December 2.
The continued progress of our Cause is undoubtedly creating a marked impression on the press, and this is perhaps more noticeable in what the editors refrain from publishing than in any actual references to Christian Science which appear in print.

I am sending out this message with an earnest desire to help someone as I have been helped.
When I first went to a Christian Science church service the happy faces so impressed me that when I was feeling the loss of a loved one I turned to Christian Science to seek comfort and happiness.
Like many others I would express my sincere gratitude for Christian Science, for what it has done and is doing for the world today.
My heart overflows with gratitude for our revised Christian Science Hymnal, and I am reminded that it is due to this Science that I can sing at all.
Over twenty years ago, while residing in a foreign land, I gradually became ill and resorted to much medical treatment, but to no avail.
Because I receive so much joy and encouragement from the testimonies of others I wish to express my gratitude.
Thanks to the study of our textbook I have been able to grasp the divine possibilities to which Christ Jesus referred when he said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
