A RELLIANCE
upon mere material things and means, popular theories, statistical forecasts, human hypotheses, "the wisdom of this world," self-will, manipulation, and trickery, always fails of real success, and can contribute nothing permanent to social harmony, economic peace, or business stabilization.
"FORGIVE
and forget" has long been considered a gracious way of establishing peace after some misunderstanding; but Christian Scientists are gaining a sense of love far outweighing a concept of forgiveness which would claim to forget while continuing to believe in a past evil as having been real.
HOW
pleasant it is to be found contributing or subscribing to the world's sweetness, thus helping to neutralize its bitterness! How eagerly the world is looking for those who are willing to help it to see the bright skies instead of the gloomy clouds! What opportunities there are today for each one to do a vast amount of good!
