My testimony is given in the hope that it may aid someone to understand that God is an ever present help to all who earnestly seek Him. This understanding solved a problem of lack. While it seemed that everything we had in the world was lost, I learned that spiritually I had lost nothing, but had gained much in overcoming many erroneous conditions. If anyone will honestly and sincerely study the Bible and Science and Health and practice faithfully what he reads, he will certainly get a wonderful understanding of God, who is Life, Truth, and Love. Financially everything was lost to me, but I put out thoughts of fear and lack and let in the truth. Then the way opened and my husband received a position which not only was financially better but was in a line of work which was more harmonious.

Through my knowledge of Truth and Love as demonstrated in Christian Science, I was healed of a sprained back and a dislocated finger. I was also instantaneously healed of a cold and of a badly burned hand. For these and many other healings I am truly grateful, especially for the help Christian Science has been in the overcoming of a cross and faultfinding disposition. For many years I was a very nervous woman, given to worry and fear about everything and to having attacks of hysteria. Since I began the study of Christian Science I have been able to overcome the hysterical spells and am acquiring the calmness which comes through an understanding of God.
