I am so grateful for what Christian Science has done for us that I should like to add my testimony.

When first asked to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I thought it was just one of the many theories on life, and after reading a few pages I put the book down. Nevertheless, after a few more years of suffering, hungry for an understandable religion, I thought I would try again. This time I read the Sentinel, and how I enjoyed reading the testimonies! Then I was told about the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, and after I had read the weekly Lessons and attended church for a few weeks the light came. I glimpsed the truth. It was wonderful; I could not stop talking about it. Stomach trouble that permitted me only certain kinds of food, coupled with constipation and diarrhea that had been with me for over thirty years, dropped away. Also sensitive feet, astigmatism, headaches, and a very irritable disposition left me. For these healings I am deeply grateful.

In our home, which is now a place of love, joy, and refinement, where dissension and irritation used to be, I have seen the healings of whooping cough, hemorrhoids, influenza, and weak heart through the application of this truth given to us through Christian Science, discovered and founded by our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy—this new-old religion that Christ Jesus taught and practiced.
