It is with a heart full of gratitude that I offer this testimony of the many blessings which the earnest study of Christian Science is daily bringing to me. I was led to the reading of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, by the healing of a sister. She had asked for Christian Science treatment to avoid, or at least delay, a much-feared operation, which seemed imperative, for gallstones. In a week's treatment she was completely and permanently healed.

It was several years later, however, when circumstances in my own life forced me to find God, who is "a very present help in trouble," that I began seeking earnestly, and discovered for myself God as Principle, Life, Truth, and Love, as taught in Christian Science. Mrs. Eddy says that "progress is spiritual" (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 181); and it was indeed after many struggles that I found this to be true.

In our family we have had many healings of physical disease, and have found Christian Science to be preventive as well as curative.
